Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: May 2026
At Fit Budget Life, transparency matters. This page explains how we make money and what affiliate
relationships look like on this site.

What are affiliate links?

An affiliate link is a special URL that tracks when a visitor clicks through to a partner website and makes a
purchase. If you buy something after clicking one of our affiliate links, we may earn a small commission. The
price you pay is exactly the same as it would be without the link — affiliate commissions come from the
seller’s marketing budget, not from your pocket.

Programs we participate in

Fit Budget Life is a participant in the following affiliate programs:
- Amazon Associates — for fitness gear, kitchen equipment, books, and supplements available on Amazon.
- ShareASale — for partner brands in fitness, wellness, and personal finance.
- Impact — for direct-to-consumer brands and digital products.
- Awin — additional partner network covering health and lifestyle brands.
- Other affiliate programs may be added over time.

Required Amazon Associates disclosure

Fit Budget Life is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising
program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to
Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.

How we choose what to recommend

We only recommend products that meet at least one of these criteria:
- Products we have personally used and found valuable.
- Products that are widely regarded as best-in-class for the use case.
- Products that align with the budget-conscious mission of this blog (no $300 yoga mats, ever).
We will never recommend a product simply because it pays a higher commission. Trust is the most valuable
thing this blog has, and we won’t trade it for short-term revenue.

How to identify affiliate links

Affiliate links are typically presented as:
- Inline text links within articles, often using the Pretty Links plugin (e.g., fitbudgetlife.com/go/productname).
- Image links to product pages.
- Comparison tables.
- Resource pages.
Whenever an article contains affiliate links, we include a disclosure at or near the top of the article, in addition to this site-wide disclosure.

Sponsored content

From time to time, brands may sponsor content on Fit Budget Life. When that happens, the post will be
clearly labeled as sponsored. Sponsored content does not change our editorial standards — we only accept
sponsorships from brands aligned with our mission, and we retain full editorial control over the content.

Your rights as a reader

You are never obligated to use our affiliate links. If you prefer to search for a product directly through
Google or another channel, you absolutely can. We appreciate when readers use our links — it helps keep
this blog running — but it is always your choice.
